Back by popular demand, the Queen’s Award winning charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust, is holding its fifth annual Crown and Tiara walk this May.
Fundraisers can get a taste of royalty, opting for either a 4 or 8 mile walk in the picturesque grounds of the Crown Estate and take in the stunning sights of the Windsor Great Park.
New for this year, the 4 mile route will feature a treasure hunt, which will make for a fun-filled family activity.
Caroline Holton, Chief Development Officer for the Trust said, “We are encouraging as many people as possible to get involved in the Trust’s fifth annual Crown and Tiara walk. We have since reviewed the course and have introduced two route options; a 4 mile route which is perfect for younger families and will include a treasure hunt and an 8 mile option which is suited towards more experienced walkers or those who want to complete a personal challenge.
Our walk is a great opportunity for a group of friends, work colleagues or individuals to come together, but also a chance for families to come together as a whole. All funds raised from the event will continue to support families of seriously-ill children”.
Buckinghamshire supporter, 19 year old Amy Webb is backing the event as she has received support from the charity since 2013 after battling Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. “I've seen at first-hand how donations from events like this one can benefit those that truly need a bit of respite or just some information and advice. My family took part in the walk last year and was a very enjoyable event which the whole family could get involved with and will be participating again this year!”
The event will take place on Sunday 31st May from 10am-3pm, with entry priced at £15 for adults and £5 for children, participants can either enter as individuals, families or groups. To register please click here or for further information call 01344 622500.
