On Friday 10th February, Tony Virgo, the Mayor of Bracknell Forest, hosted a Burns Supper in aid of the Trust.
The Stirrups Inn was the venue for the event, which included a traditional piping in of the haggis, an address to the haggis and, of course a delicious three-course Scottish dinner. No Burns Supper would be complete without a ceilidgh to end the evening – it was great to see so many guests getting into the spirit of the event and dancing the night away, We would like to thank all who attended for helping make the event such a big success.
We are honoured to be the Mayor’s chosen charity for his year in office, and would like to thank him for all his support. The Burns Supper is just one of a programme of events the Mayor has kindly hosted to help the Trust raise funds to support families of seriously-ill children.
