Royal Mail delivers a first class fundraising programme

Our Chief Executive, Jane Gates was delighted to once again attend the Royal Mail Worldwide Distribution Centre in Langley to accept a cheque following the team's staggering fundraising efforts.

Mike Sibley, International Head of Processing, and took on a mammoth 24 hour cyclathon to raise funds for the Trust for the second year running, along with his colleagues Dan Tovey and John Lawrence. Over 140 staff members took turns to ride for at least one hour on spinning bikes and cross trainers to help raise funds for families of seriously-ill children.

Mike and his colleague Peter Vincent also took part in the Ride 100 to raise even more funds for the Trust. So far, the team have raised over £15,000 through a range of activities  - a wonderful amount which will make a significant difference to our ability to offer emotional, social and practical support, ensuring our care is tailored to the individual needs of each family member as well as the whole family unit.
