The Trust is thrilled to be able to share the wonderful news that they have just taken ownership of a property in Crowthorne.
The ex-NHS site is to be transformed into a new, permanent, family hub which will be known as The Woodlands. In time, The Woodlands will offer similar facilities to those available at The Bluebells.
As the Trust heads into its 15th year, this is a great milestone. The charity's founder, Sebastian, would be so proud of how the Trust has supported so many families, and will continue to do so with the development of this new facility.
For some of the Trust's beneficiaries living in Berkshire and the surrounding area, Basingstoke is often too far to travel so being able to provide a facility slightly closer to home, where the needs of the entire family can be catered for, is wonderful news for the Trust.
It is hope that doors to The Woodlands will open in the summer of 2018 with activities and therapies including sensory play, art and music therapy and well-being on offer. In the longer term, much more is planned including hydrotherapy and fully equipped self-catering lodges within the beautiful grounds.
Progress will be shared on the Trust's Facebook pag
