David Wilson Homes donates £10k to Sebastian’s Action Trust

A CHARITY which helps families of children with life-limited and life-threatened children illnesses has been given a major boost to help with the upkeep of its Basingstoke home.

David Wilson Homes donated £10,000 to Sebastian’s Action Trust for upkeep of The Bluebells, in North Waltham.

This contribution from The Barratt Foundation’s Impact Grant helps maintain the home that includes specialised apartments, a hydrotherapy pool, sensory and music rooms, a cinema and more.

Ruth Paley, trust and foundation manager at Sebastian’s Action’s Trust said: “It is so important to facilitate private spaces for families to spend time with their children who are facing serious illnesses.

Julian Hodder, managing director at Barratt David Wilson Southern Counties, said: “Through our Impact Grants, we aim to support charities that align with the Barratt Foundation’s vision in helping communities throughout the UK to thrive, by focusing on children, young people and those most disadvantaged.

Sebastian’s Action Trust is a charity which perfectly aligns with our aims, and we are proud to support such an important organisation that continues to offer a helping hand for families facing enormous challenges.”
